SHIVA

Katie acted in and produced the short film Shiva in the summer of 2020. The story follows a young woman who escapes into the woods to avoid the death of her mother as well as the attempts of her brother to bring her back.

LAURA

In the spring of 2021, Katie played the title character in Laura, a short psychological thriller about a young embroidery artist who becomes fascinated with embroidering into human skin.

It was written and directed by Maddie Cardarelli, who has worked with A24, and produced by the Pratt Institute.

CRIMSON CARNATIONS

Katie acted in and script consulted on an upcoming independent psychological thriller, entitled Crimson Carnations.

The short film was written and directed by Cayley McConnell and was shot in June 2022.

Intimacy

Katie starred in and co-produced the psychological horror film, Intimacy. The project was written and directed by Bailey Hart and was shot in March 2022.

The piece, following two women on a first date, explores co-dependency and betrayal through psychedelic means.

Katie played the lead in a short film about a young woman hiding her self-destructive behavior from a close friend. Additionally, Katie helped with the special effects and production design of the project.

we dream of pyramids

Through a collection of moments during a sleepover, We Dream of Pyramids centers on two best friends who long to be in Egypt. Katie was cast as the pensive yet playful Rebecca.

The small hours

Katie co-produced a short film that focuses on a toxic relationship between a father and son. They shot on the location Katie scouted in the summer of 2021.

Written and Directed by Jared Wiedmeyer

Katie and frequent collaborators Michael Feder, Uri Zerbib, and Thomas Sherman shot Howard, a short film about a young man who considers moving out of his friend’s guest house after his cat dies, in the fall of 2020.

In addition to being the Assistant Director, Katie played Gladys—the giving but practical young woman who attempts, though ultimately fails, to help her best friends.
